【Background of the Request】
The thin-walled parts had large openings, and it was not possible to finish SUS304 with high precision. Attempts were made in-house but were unsuccessful.
There were no manufacturers capable of maintaining the required precision.
For this project:
1. Due to the large openings, significant deformation occurs at the moment of cutting due to cutting resistance and the release of internal stress, so we developed a machining method that prevents deformation.
2. Since high precision is required, we selected a heat treatment method that does not cause deformation.
3. We chose a method for mirror finishing that avoids deformation.
